It's a good introduction to Rochester and it's history and figures. Chris was knowledgeable about the tour content, different museums and sites to see and also the local area... read more generally. The tour doesn't dwell anywhere so you will come away with a lot of places you can go back to see later. Even the little bit of rain didn't matter as there were quite a few undercover places to stop and including inside the museum. …

Our guide, Terry, was a veritable “walking Wikipedia” for Rochester. He was enthusiastic, full of energy and extremely knowledgeable. His extensive local knowledge made the easy walking tour a... read more pleasure, bringing many little-known facts and quirks of the area, its residents, history and architecture, to life. Terry was so keen to offer us more information and interest that the tour lasted more than 2 hours, with the group’s consent. I would have been happy to go round again, to hear more. The tour has inspired me to visit again and see Rochester’s attractions with renewed insight. Terry spoke clearly and audibly, with a gentle sense of humour. Without doubt, this was the best Saturday morning I have enjoyed for many a year.
I urge all people to seriously consider enjoying this wonderful treat in Rochester's captivating environs.
