The tour doesn't dwell anywhere so you will come away with a lot of places you can go back to see later.
Even the little bit of rain didn't matter as there were quite a few undercover places to stop and including inside the museum.

  A very relaxed, friendly but informative tour of the town /city! James pointed out many places we would have missed on our own, entertained us with stories of Rochester’s history,... read more inhabitants and visitors and even ran after us once the tour had finished to suggest an interesting place for tea. The tour is free, but requests donations for the City of Rochester Society.

John delivered his walk with enthusiasm and an impressive depth of knowledge. He was only too happy to answer questions and unusually for some guides he never lost the groups interest.
I have done many guided walks over the last forty years and few have been of this high standard. So thanks again John.
My advice to future visitors is to book a City of Rochester guided walk and if you are lucky then you will get John as your guide.
