Friends of the Vines Snowdrop Planting

On Saturday 9th March, the Friends of The Vines have organised a snowdrop planting session in the bed around the Vines Monk.

The planting runs from 11am to 1pm and 1,000 snowdrops will be planted “in the green” – i.e. they still have their leaves, rather than just being bulbs. The planting is taking place with the assistance of Kent Wildlife Trust and the Friends are hoping to have plenty of volunteers to lend a hand. If you fancy joining in, please bring your own tools and gloves. Children are very welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult.

Other events in the Friends of the Vines calendar for 2013 include;
